The Beginning

“No, this is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book! That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, has just begun! Look, it is the first page! And it is a beautiful one!” ― C. JoyBell C.

Sunrise new beginning 300x225 The Beginning

Welcome to the beginning. My name is Cassandra Eubank and I am the founder of Believe and Receive. This is the beginning of my blogs, my website and a fantastic dream.

I think most of us want to know what our purpose in life is and want to make a positive difference in the world. I know these two questions have been dominate in my mind since I can remember. I always thought that I would just try to be a good person, do as much as I could for others and try to build people up and encourage them to be their very best; eventually my purpose in life and whatever great thing I was meant to do to give back to the planet would become evident. About 15 years ago, I decided to start searching for answers instead of waiting for answers to just appear.

In this quest, I started reading, buying CD self help programs, learning to meditate, going to seminars held by gurus like Dr. Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and Abraham-Hicks. I learned Reiki, Reconnective Healing and anything I could to raise my energy and apply it in ways that would help the planet. I continue to educate myself with workshops and scour the internet for information that will assist me in my ultimate goal, encouraging people to their greatest potential.

I have learned that our purpose in life is to be happy and appreciate the miracle that is life. It really is that simple, but with all the challenges (or opportunities, depending on how you handle these situations), life can seem so complicated.

There is a lot more that I have learned. Just as we all learn a great amount about the things we focus our attention on. And I am very aware there is much more I have yet to learn. I love the journey and I love sharing information that I feel has great value, so that I can add value to the lives of others as well.

water1 300x225 The Beginning During my quest for answers, I had taken in a lot of information about water. One of the quickest ways to lose weight is drink 64 ounces of water a day. Your skin looks better when you drink more water. According to www.wiki.answers.com, our earth is covered by 71.11% water. www.Chemcraft.net reports that as babies we are approximately 75 to 80% water. As we grow older this percentage decreases to approximately 60 to 65%. Water is a key element in our world and a vital factor in how we feel. The better we feel, the more we can get out of this amazing gift of life that we have been blessed with.

Knowing the significance of water and it’s crucial role in all of life, I became fascinated when I came across the work of Dr. Masura Emoto. Dr. Emoto was born in Yokohama Japan and graduated from the Yokohama Municipal University and the Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine. He created the I.H.M Corporation in Tokyo and presides as the head of the I.H.M. General Research Institute, Inc., is the President of I.H.M., Inc., and chief representative of I.H.M.’s HADO Fellowship. I first heard about his research when watching the movie, What the BLEEP Do We Know!? First released in theaters in 2004, this film went on to become one of the most successful documentaries of all time. The lovely and talented Marlee Matlin starring in a segment of this movie that presents Dr.Emoto’s work in a comprehensive and engaging manner. You can watch this short clip that is just over 2 minutes by clicking here. Hidden Messages in Water I had to pick up one of Dr. Emoto’s books, The Hidden Messages in Water and learn more.

Dr. Emoto’s research is intriguing. He has studied the effects of positive words and intentions vs. the effects of negative words and intentions when placed on or directed at water taken from the same source in great length. His work was done by taking water samples from 1 source and putting it in many different containers. On some of the glasses, he would put words like love and gratitude. On the others he put the words hate and murder. Then he froze the water and when it was reaching the freezing point, he took photos of the crystals of water. The results were consistent and remarkable. Loving words produced beautiful snowflake like patterns that were brilliant and spectacular. The hateful words resulted in discolored shapes that were malformed. Please see our Water Research page at www.BeliveAndReceive.com to learn more.

While I was enthralled Dr. Emoto’s work, I had been ravenously devouring everything I could learn about the Law of Attraction for years. The premise of the Law of Attraction was made popular once again with the book and the movie The Secret. But the information presented in that work has been around for eons and proclaimed by many of our greatest minds. For those not familiar with the mechanics of the Law of Attraction, simply put, all life, all matter is made of energy. All energy vibrates. When we are depressed, have a negative attitude, or think in terms of what is wrong that needs to be fixed, our vibration is low. When we are happy, feeling grateful and focusing our thoughts on what we do want more of, our vibrational frequency is high. And whatever the vibration of our energy, the law of attraction works to bring more things with a matching vibration to you. If you think about how much weight you want to lose, you are thinking about what you don’t want (the extra weight) and you bring more of it to you (weight). If you think about how great you are going to feel when you reach your weight goals and act as if you already have accomplished them, you will vibrate at a much higher rate and attract what you need to successfully achieve the desired weight.

The idea of a line of clothes with positive messages integrated with adorable designs, had been floating around in my mind for over a decade. The more I learned about the Law of Attraction, the more I saw the value of adding inspirational, positive messages on adorable boutique apparel. After all, when we see, wear and look at ourselves in designs that weave words of gratitude, success, and bliss, our focus shifts to what we do have to be thankful for and our own energy vibration increases.

Then one morning nearing the end of a particularly deep and engrossing meditation, I realized why the Dr. Emoto information had made it’s appearance in my life. If putting uplifting words of love, encouragement and inspiration was proven to make such spectacular changes in water at a molecular level, how much could we improve our own molecular structure given that our bodies are around 60% water. The more I thought about how perfect this combination was and how beneficial these products could be for everyone, the more my passion for the project was fueled. Now the idea was no longer floating, it was a burning desire that I followed through on. The products area of our website, www.BelieveAndReceive.com will be up in less than 6 month.

But a funny thing happened on the way to building my dream. This company was founded on the premise of bringing a great product that could elevate the well being of those taking advantage of the benefits. It was a way of giving back. Believe and Receive has always been about how to do the most good I can through the company. So having products that enrich people’s lives was not enough for me. I wanted to build a community of people to share encouragement and inspiration to. I wanted to share the ideas and techniques I had learned to build a better life. So I began to write posts for our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/BelieveAndReceive. I wanted to give my audience information to make them happier and more fulfilled. Yet the connections I have made , through comments and messages have been a gift to me.

Did I mention that Believe and Receive was all about giving back? Twenty percent of all profits go to either the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Horses for Handicap. And we have a line of bead jewelry featuring bead bracelets that yield 100 percent of the profit going to sponsor children in Nepal.

The beautiful thing about new beginnings is you can start a new beginning at any time. And you can decide to let it take you wherever you wish to go. Your imagination is your only limitation.”

I want to thank you for reading this, for taking this journey with me. I understand that our most precious commodity is our time.
